I do want to connect my laptop in my fresh installed UBUNTU 8.05 via wifi but it keeps to be my burden this time around. I plan to dual boot my laptop with Windows XP and Ubuntu , well wondering no vista on my setup? It’s just because I don’t want Windows Vista on it because for me VISTA still a mess that’s why I still stick to Xp and Ubuntu.

Well back to topic I’m still having a hard time setting up Ubuntu wireless though I don’t have problem installing this operating system. I will not stop looking for solution and making my laptop work on wifi in Ubuntu.
By just Googling around I found lots of tutorials on how to connect Ubuntu in wife but remember it needs certain time and some Linux expertise to make this work. I myself having a hard time on this , I forgot most of the terminal command in Linux and making myself refresh for it.
You can check this forum thread on How to Setup WIFI on UBUNTU and I just found out that this is one of the most common problem of Ubuntu users on WIFI connectivity. I will also try this instruction on WIFI and Ubuntu and I’ll be back using Windows XP until i make UBUNTU working on WIFI.
